Location was great. Historic art nouveau hotel right across from the beach on Ocean Ave. Free bicycles for 1 hour use. Staff was cheerful and attentive. We had an issue with the ceiling fan not functioning and someone came up in minutes.

The hotel is located on the Ocean Drive which means that is a very good and famous location in Miami. You can visit a lot of places walking and there is a very nice square in front of the hotel where you can walk or cycling for several meters.

The Beacon Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! We booked three nights before we embarked on a cruise to the Bahamas and the service, location, incredible attention from the friendly staff and amenities could not have been better. Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly and given champagne and fresh fruit. Our room was ready and was on the 2nd floor of the hotel which was quiet and clean for our entire stay. Two large beds with a decent size bathroom - Tommy Bahama toiletries were a nice touch. The room also came with robes and slippers as well as a Nespresso machine and fridge. On the 2nd floor mezzanine was a lounge with a seating area and free Starbucks coffee. Security in the hotel was amazing and there were staff members available 24/7 if you needed anything. Free Breakfast came with the room and was plentiful - lots of fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, pancakes and sausage and you could get a beautiful table overlooking Ocean Drive to eat. At night the attached restaurant was lively and a destination on Ocean Drive. Free beach towels and bicycle rentals were available until 8PM! All of these touches made our first stay in Miami Beach the best and we can't wait to go back. We chose to stay at another hotel for our extra night in Miami after the cruise and regretted not going back to the Beacon!

Good location and offers 1 hour of free cycling per day. There is a small market next door. Not too noisy and not too calm. The staff is friendly and willing to help. They helped me with my luggage all the time and helped me resolve a zipper issue.

Total SH, cant sleep until they shut music off at 2AM, restaurant was the worst Ive ever been to for Service, Was checked on twice waiting to pay my ticket for 30 minutes and I said forget about it. Ill pay it at the lobby and then they called the cop
